Giro Headset Syntax MIPS

With the Syntax™ Mips®, long-term comfort is combined with relentless performance and style. The coverage is slightly deeper and the design is sleek, allowing you to stay comfortable whether you're riding on city roads or mountain trails.

The Syntax Mips® blends a touch of European elegance with slightly wider coverage and high-performance features, all in a very sleek design. The state-of-the-art adjustment is secure, thanks to our highly adjustable Roc Loc™ 5 Air Mips system that lets you customize the fit and feel for long-term stability and comfort while providing additional protection against rotational forces in the event of an oblique impact. The outer shell is molded from a durable polycarbonate that is permanently fused to the EPS foam liner using our “In-Mold” manufacturing process to enhance durability and ventilation without excess bulk.

RIGID SHELL WITH MOLDED HARDBODY™ LOWER COVER - The two-part shell combines a rigid, sturdy outer shell with a lower polycarbonate shell permanently fused to the liner for added durability without excess weight.

INTEGRATED MIPS® SYSTEM FOR BRAIN PROTECTION - All Giro helmets are designed to absorb maximum energy while exceeding the strictest safety standards. The aim of Giro helmets equipped with integrated Mips is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets featuring this technology can lessen the rotational force that may be transferred to a cyclist's brain during certain impacts.

ROC LOC 5 AIR MIPS ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM - This revolutionary adjustment system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by improving cooling, comfort, and stability. Using a patented design that suspends the helmet slightly above the head, the Roc Loc 5 Air Mips allows fresh air to flow directly over your head, enhancing the performance of the vents and internal channels that expel heat from the helmet. The adjustments for fit and feel replicate the functionality of the Roc Loc 5 Mips, allowing you to easily adjust the fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds with one hand.

VENTILATION THROUGH “WIND TUNNEL” TECHNOLOGY - Giro helmets are developed using our exclusive “Wind Tunnel” ventilation system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmet shell and internal channels that propel fresh air over and around the rider's head while expelling heat and stale air out. It’s the most effective cooling system on the market, and the difference is felt with every pedal stroke.

IONIC+® PADDING - Pure silver is the secret ingredient that gives IONIC+® the power to provide natural and everlasting odour protection, keeping your helmet fresh.
