Giro Headset Ethos MIPS Shield

A lightweight molded design with integrated LED lights at the front and rear and remote-controlled indicators at the handlebars is the perfect accessory for daily commutes in the urban jungle.

Choose to ride, choose to be seen. The new Ethos™ Mips® Shield revolutionises cycling commutes, featuring a molded clear visor that stylishly protects against the elements while allowing riders to use their own glasses. (The Ethos Mips Shield is also available without a visor, under the name Ethos Mips.) Its compact and tidy design incorporates the Mips® Brain Protection System, white LED lights at the front, red at the rear, and orange indicators, all controlled via an intuitive remote mounted on the handlebars. The entire system is rechargeable via USB-C, with an estimated battery life of 10 hours on low flashing mode and 5 hours on high flashing mode, providing 45 lumens at the front and 30 lumens at the rear. The helmet and remote fully recharge in just 2 hours and 1 hour respectively. Despite the embedded technologies, the monobloc construction keeps the weight down, the full rigid shell enhances durability, and the Roc Loc® Mips City adjustment system combined with quick-drying foams ensures comfort. Whether you are a committed urban cyclist, taking the kids to school on your electric cargo bike, or just looking to be more visible in the city, the Ethos Mips Shield offers a taste of the future.
