Giro Full face helmet Insurgent Sph

The Giro Insurgent™ Spherical offers unmatched protection and comfort for the most demanding downhill enthusiasts, from Rampage competitions to the EWS, thanks to its Spherical™ ball-and-socket technology and its ultra-efficient cooling system.

From the Enduro World Series to the Red Bull Rampage, top riders rely on the Giro Insurgent™ Spherical helmet for the confidence it provides. Our engineers have maximized the entry points for fresh air, which has allowed for cooling power that is 50% more effective than that of the Disciple™ Mips®. A set of lightweight, soft-touch, and absorbent pads includes two different cheek pads for each of the three sizes, providing a custom fit. They are secured by a directional snap-button system, allowing for easy removal in case of a fall. Weighing 1,040 grams in size M/L, the Insurgent is 200 grams lighter than the Disciple Mips, despite additional features, including advanced protection from Spherical Technology™. The Insurgent Spherical uses two layers of EPP and EPS foam of different densities that work like a ball joint to redirect impact energy in the event of a fall. Additional features include a patented flexible joint along the lower edge of the helmet, designed to reduce helmet impact on certain collarbone fractures, tool-free detachable visor screws with an integrated Allen key receiver for easy removal, and a central hole for the visor, which also serves as an ideal mount for P.O.V. action cameras.
